The Jodhpur Development Authority (JDA) will, from February 25, 2026, open an e-auction for allotment of land to around a dozen government-planned residential schemes in the Sun City here.
JDA Director (Finance) Manjit Charan said the mega online auction under the guidance of the Commissioner (JDC) Utsah Chaudhary will be organised between February 25 and May 7, 2026 in an open and transparent, fair and free-from all legal encumbrances e-bidding. The auction will be strictly abiding by the state government’s standard procedural norms of transparency aimed at giving fair and viable deals to buyers.

About 150 residential and commercial plots and farm houses are expected to go under the hammer under the Bhajan Lal Sharma government’s policy of providing roof over every head at a fair price and at the same time garnering optimum financial resources of the JDA.
The three-and-a-half-month-long drill will cover various residential schemes, including Ujaliya Farm Scheme, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Chokha Residential Scheme, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Vihar, Arana Vihar, Jharna Vihar, Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Mandal Nath Residential Scheme, Vigyan Nagar Scheme, Sundar Singh Bhandari Nagar, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar(Basani-Tambolia) Scheme and commercial plots in Chokha village.
Detailed e-auction programmes with the time schedule of respective schemes, bidding details, terms and conditions have already been loaded on the JDA website, the director Charan said.
